Carter’s Golf Series in May

Yesterday, seventeen players resolutely stood on the tee of the first hole on the Albatross golf course in order to compete in the second tournament of Carter’s Golf Series.

We chose the concept of a 9-hole tournament, which starts at 4pm. Carter’s Golf Series gives players a great chance to compete after their work or school. Players never get too tired and, after the game, everyone can enjoy dinner prepared by one of the finest restaurants at Kogo golf resort Albatross.

Bryan Carter, David Carter’s father and coach, and also a long-time Senior European Tour player, attended the common dinner and results announcement. Bryan prepared an original putting competition as an accompanying programme of the tournament, which was so highly enjoyed by the present players that they were not at all in a hurry for the dinner in the clubhouse. Our member, Mr Petr Blecha, won the putting competition and received a beautiful prize – Titleist Pro V 1 golf balls.

The participating golfers varied in age and strength. The best player had a handicap index of 3.9 and the youngest player was only eight years old. The below stated players competed for points towards the main prize – a one-week training with David Carter in the UAE:

Even you have got the chance to win the main prize! The only thing you have to do is participate in the next tournament of Carter’s Golf Series, which takes place on June 24, 2015 at the Albatross golf resort. Enrol on time since the number of places is limited.
