Yesterday, the Albatross golf resort hosted David’s seminar on “How to hit great bunker shots.” This seminar loosely followed the previous meeting with players on the theme of “Tips and tricks of effective training.”

Both our club members and the members of other clubs, who are always very welcome among us, attended the seminar. The seminar presented examples of high, low, short and long bunker shots while using three different wedges. We also learned how to play shots in case of wet or firm sand.

At first, guests watched and then tried the bounce clubs. They tested how to use them for better sand shots. They have learned how to work with the angle of the club depending on the length of the shots they want to play from bunker. Everyone who came is now more comfortable with playing sand shots and knows how to keep practising the bunker shots.

Most of us concluded yesterday evening in the nearby Zastávka restaurant where we enjoyed dinner and of course continued the discussion on golf.

The next seminar will be held on June 15 on “Putting – the most important part of the game” and will be led by Bryan Carter, an experienced golf coach and former Senior Tour player. “You would have to go a long way to find a better putter than my father,” says David who himself often seeks his father’s advice about putting.

On June 29, we are organising a seminar on the topic “How to straighten and lengthen drives”, which will be presented by David Carter.

Please reserve your place in the seminars on time at the following e-mail address: michaela@cartergolfclub.cz. The number of places is limited.

We look forward to seeing you!

PS: We would like to thank Zuzana Zajacová for photos that allow everyone to enjoy the atmosphere of the seminar.
