My name is David Carter. Golf has been a major part of my life for almost 40 years. It is my passion and lifestyle. As a player, I have competed against legends of the game and some of the greatest golfers of that time, I saw incredible golf courses all over the world and I was a part of the Top 100 golfers on the planet. I have spent 15 long years playing on the European Tour.

I have managed to pave my way to the top and to fulfil my dream. While doing so, I have met thousands of players of all skill levels. These experiences are very valuable for me now as a coach and mentor. I have a clear vision of what every golfer needs in order to play better. I know, that golf is a complex sport and that’s why I don’t teach the technique of a swing – I teach how to play golf.

Currently, I work with a number of top players. But I also want to help you. That’s why I have created Carter’s golf Club.

What can you expect? Firstly, an experience of a European Tour event winner. An opportunity to look behind the scenes of global and domestic golf. A chance to learn from the best and to meet world’s elite players. This is just a small part of what you will have access to as members. Find out more about the benefits of club membership.

I consider all members of the club my friends. I will give you a seat in the “first row”, so you could have an exclusive access to everything I do. If you want to make golf a major part of your lifestyle and to enter a diverse golfing community, which would take you further in the game and in life, I am looking forward to seeing you. Spent 15 years playing on the European Tour, started in more than 370 events. Won 1998 Irish Open after a nerve-wracking play-off with the one and only Colin Montgomerie. In the same season finished 19th in the European Tour Order of Merit and made it into the Top 100 players on the planet.

On top of his triumph he added four 2nd places, two 3rd places and another fifteen Top 10 finishes. Earned over 3 million Euros throughout his European Tour career and also started in two British Opens.

Won the 1998 World Cup of Golf alongside Nick Faldo, a team competition with each team consisting of two players from a country. It was historically a first win for England.

An injury has put an end to his playing career, currently works as a golf mentor and coach. The list of his students includes members of the Czech amateur and professional elite – Marek Nový, Jakub Pokorný, Martin Příhoda, Vladimír Gregor, Kateřina Vlašínová, Kristýna Pavlíčková, Emily Curry Bartoňová and others.

Some of his junior students are, for example: Hynek Groh, Marek Drcmánek, Tomáš Kauer, Tereza Vidurová, Daniela Jechová, Barbora Gaislerová, Nela Halaburdová and many others.

Coach of an Olympic gold medalist in decathlon Roman Šebrle, who under his guidance became golf professional, or another accomplished athlete, football legend Patrik Berger.
